Job Overview: This position resides in the Cannabis and Alcohol Regulation Division of the Department of Revenue. Duties include assembling store orders using an electronic pallet jack, ensuring orders are picked accurately, and pallets are assembled properly to minimize breakage during shipment. The incumbent in this position reports to the Distribution Bureau Chief and receives guidance from the Warehouse Foreman. This position does not supervise other staff.

Eligibility for employment will be subject to the following:

• Controlled Substance and Alcohol Testing. Due to the nature of the position, individuals will be subject to controlled substance and alcohol testing.

• Controlled substance and alcohol testing may also be required immediately following an accident when reasonable suspicion exists or as part of a follow-up to a previous incident.

Work hours may exceed 20 hours from time to time, including weekends. Warehouse environment. Lifting is consistent throughout the shift up to 50 pounds and carrying product several feet. Some travel may be required, must have a valid driver's license.

Education / Experience: The above competencies are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to:

• High school diploma, GED certificate, or equivalent
• One-year experience in a warehouse operating a forklift, electric and manual pallet jack, personal order scanner and dock leveler.
• Other combinations of education and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis.
