Duties & ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, performs clerical duties related to the operation of a pharmacy; and performs other related duties as required.
- Receives prescriptions and obtains information; using a computerized system, enters prescription data to create a patient profile
- Helps to maintain the pharmacy in a clean and orderly condition
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of protected health information (PHI)
- May be assigned to maintenance of pharmacy filing systems (hard copy, signature logs, and invoices).
- Prepare and track delivery instructions and invoices to assist delivery staff and common carriers responsible for home or office delivery
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Hourly rate: $25 - $30
