The Shift Manager (SM) is an hourly position designed to assist management in routine administrative and operational tasks within the restaurant, including opening and closing duties when management is unavailable.
Key Responsibilities- Drive excellence in customer service.
- Maintain company standards in product and facility specifications.
- Review food handling procedures.
- Assess operational processes.
- Provide crew training and ongoing coaching with feedback for hourly employees.
- Assume full responsibility for opening and closing the restaurant when management is unavailable, while maintaining administrative control.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college education preferred.
- 12 years of restaurant management experience.
- Strong understanding of P&L interpretation and management to influence profitability.
- Ability to prioritize and organize own and others work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and problem?solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English language skills for clear communication.
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable car for transportation.
- Travel required.
- Completion of all internal BKC certification programs.
