Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a motivated and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth in a small set of named accounts with Amazon as the main anchor account on the global level and support broader growth in the Intralogistics industry as part of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) vertical. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development and/or sales, with a deep understanding of the market to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within Amazon or similar companies in the retail/distribution space. As part of the Siemens Vertical Sales Organization, the Enterprise Account Executive will play a significant role in business generation for the entire Siemens Digital Industries Portfolio relevant to Amazon in the US and across the globe. They will work closely with Siemens Sales and customers in the target markets on technical, contractual, and commercial opportunities.

This role reports to the global Vertical Intralogistics Head and the US Vertical Sales Manager within our CPG organization.

We are looking for a Global Account Manager for Amazon plus other accounts. This position is ideally based in the Nashville, TN, Philadelphia, PA area, mid-Atlantic area or close to other relevant customer locations (Seattle, WA or Washington, DC) or with frequent travel to client sites.

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience & Track Record: 8+ years of progressive experience in business development or strategic account management, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in complex solution environments.
  • Industrial Acumen: Strong understanding of the Intralogistics / CPG industry with a focus on retail/distribution including market dynamics, key players, and business drivers.
  • Executive Presence & Collaboration: Exceptional executive presence, communication, and collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to lead and influence across direct and matrixed teams.
  • Channel Navigation: Proven success navigating diverse sales channels, including direct sales, distributors, and system integrators.
  • Mindset & Logistics: Entrepreneurial mindset, high sense of urgency, and willingness to travel up to 50% (domestic and international), working in an international sales network.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant Academic Foundation: Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field, providing a strong analytical and problem-solving foundation.
  • Digital Transformation Expertise: Deep understanding of Discrete and Process Automation or Digital Transformation solutions, and their application within Intralogistics / CPG processes.
  • Siemens Portfolio Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of the Siemens Digital Industries product, solutions, and service portfolio.
  • Complex Opportunity Strategy: Proven ability to develop and execute sophisticated opportunity pursuit strategies across complex ecosystems (e.g., end-users, engineering firms, system integrators).
