This is a 177-bed facility that is part of the Lifepoint Health network, recognized for its commitment to patient safety with an "A" hospital safety grade for three consecutive rating periods from The Leapfrog Group. The facility maintains high standards of care with a Level 3 trauma designation.

Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - General

Job Details:
• Urgent general surgery coverage needed for December 5th-7th
• Must have active Arkansas medical license and clean history to qualify for expedited privileges
• Preference for providers already internally credentialed with the vendor
• Provides both adult and pediatric general surgery services
• Performs trauma surgery in a Level 3 facility
• Conducts various laparoscopic procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication
• Performs head/neck surgery including thyroid procedures
• Handles chest wall/pleural procedures and liver surgery
• Conducts GI endoscopy (upper and lower, including sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy)
• Manages minor orthopedics and hand surgery cases
• Skilled in ventilation management, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and PA catheter placement
• ATLS and BLS certifications required
• Hospital provides discounted lodging at Fairfield Bay in Benton
• Nearest airport is LIT Clinton National Airport

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
