The foremost Pawn Shop in Arlington Heights is looking for an energetic, customer service oriented person who wants to work at a Pawn Shop full time as a Pawn Broker. No experience is necessary. A general understanding of computers and Microsoft Windows is a must. You must be mentally strong and be able to multi task. You must be able to pass a criminal background check. A good sense of humor is a must. Having an open mind and the determination to learn about everything of value is necessary. Bi-Lingual skills, General knowledge of jewelry, and experience using eBay are a plus, but not necessary.

We have a steady clientele who demand the friendliest and most professional staff around. We are looking for someone willing to develop personal relationships with the clientele as a Pawn Broker / Customer Service Representative. We utilize a small staff to maintain close relationships with our clients.

Skills & Qualifications:

ALWAYS maintaining an unbiased, non-judgemental and professional attitude towards customers is our main duty. HONESTY IS KEY. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively is of utmost importance. You must be customer service oriented, and excel in problem resolution. Must be apt to acquire an ever-expanding base of product knowledge, and the ability to assess this product value is pertinent. Always being focused on quality service through an entire process. Multi-tasking is a very important skill for this sometimes quick-paced business. Whether on the sales floor, selling on eBay, buying and stocking merchandise, thinking outside of the box and effective problem resolution skills are used every day. Analyzing new information quickly, paper and electronic documentation skills, listening & courteous phone skills are all used daily. A good self motivated work ethic is a must. You must be able to work closely and harmoniously with co-worker(s).
