This position includes Leadership and Clinical Direction for all Bon Secours Richmond Wound Care Clinics.Duties include overseeing clinical functions at all four Bon Secours Wound Care Facilities, patient care and Medical Directorship (.2 FTE Medical Directorship). Successful candidate will see patients for scheduled appointments which include sick visits, routine follow-ups, hospital follow-ups and pre-op medical clearance. In addition to refilling medications, follow-up with patients on labs/imaging studies with assistance of LPN/CMA, document encounter, billing in EMR and close encounter same day. Sign home health orders and other patient correspondence as needed.The Medical Director is essential to the success of the Wound Care Center. As a member of the leadership team, the Medical Director is responsible for the oversight of medical services rendered as well as the quality of wound care provided.
