Sr. Mfg Equipment Maintenance Technician

Our client, located in Greenville, NC, is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving skills, organizational and planning skills, and attention to detail and communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sr. Mfg Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Greenville, NC
Pay Range: $29.00/hr + $15/night shift differential
Work Week: Sunday - Saturday; 4 nights - 3 off - 3 days - 1 off - 3 nights - 4 days - 7 off
What's the Job?
- Operate and maintain boiler systems and related plant equipment (cooling towers, air compressors, air dryers, potable and chilled water systems).
- Operate and maintain High Purity Water systems (WFI, PFW) generated by RO and distillation units.
- Monitor performance via computer controls, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous operations.
- Maintain housekeeping in utilities area and communicate concerns.
- Work rotational shifts - including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and some non-scheduled days.
- High school diploma or equivalent required - Associates in applied science in related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years operating plant equipment (boilers, air compressors, etc.).
- Ability to read blueprints and use diagnostic/test equipment.
- Experience with cGMP environment, DNA/RNA synthesizers, robotics platforms (Hamilton, Agilent, Tecan, Biomek), hazardous materials handling, pneumatic instruments, vacuum systems, and FDA-regulated systems.
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled mechanical spaces and outdoors and lift up to 35 lbs.
