A client in the construction industry is looking to add 2 Shop Mechanics to their team in Little Rock, Arkansas. They will be responsible for performing regular routine preventative maintenance service on construction equipment, and responding to service call requests and performing repairs. They will be follow standard routines for service and complete electronic work orders in a timely manner. They must be able to maintain a DOT physical for driving commercial vehicles. They will work Monday-Friday on a 8-5 PM work schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

3 years of experience with heavy diesel
Associates Degree or 5 years of equivalent experience
Ability to work on hydraulic and air braking systems
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
Basic understanding of diesel engines
Hydraulic trouble shooting and repairs
Certifications or training on the following:
- Safety
- Brakes (Hydraulic and Air)
- Engine (Gas and Diesel)
- Transmissions
- Troubleshooting
Suspension Systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with heavy equipment
Pile drivers, skidsteers, mowers, trucks etc. Vermeer Equipment.
