Security Analyst

I am currently recruiting for a Security Analyst - II for one of our direct clients in the US. Below are the specs for the role:

Job Title: Security Analyst - II
Work Location: Addison, TX or Miramar, FL (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 remote)
Duration of Assignment: 3+ Months Contract
Pay Rate Range: $35.00 to $38.00/hr on W2
Job Description:
Job focuses on analyzing internal and external risk, applying mitigating controls and safeguards to protect sensitive data from both internal and external threats. This includes working with the business and data owners to determine data sensitivity, identify current controls, assess residual risk, monitor current tools and processes to determine effectiveness. Can resolve transaction, data and process discrepancies. Helps to determine opportunities to automate, streamline, and standardize data security processes and safeguards. Assists in the creation of business requirements documents and knows enough about a platform/technology to create functional specs for use in building technical solutions. This position will also assist in meeting security objectives and respond to company-wide data security issues and events. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess a working understanding in data security strategies, operations, and enterprise solution delivery in safeguarding our sensitive data.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 4 or more years of experience in information security
• Experience with data security toolsets
• Working experience with Azure Security Center and Data Loss Prevention
• Working experience with AWS
• Relevant industry experience with a technical background
• Ability to find patterns and trends when analyzing data
• Conduct root-cause analysis to identify variances
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical personnel in a cross-functional setting
• Balance of business acumen and technology knowledge
• Stay current on trends and current threats and make recommendations to leadership on mitigating strategies
• Understand, communicate, and reinforce standard process concepts and methodology within the ETP organization
• Possess analytical, problem solving, decision-making and quantitative analysis skills to provide insights into performance and efficiency opportunities
• Good verbal/written communication skills
• Self-starter/motivated
• Attention to detail
• Team player who can work across multiple functions
• Establishes and communicates clear priorities and sense of direction
• A good listener and collaborator who partners closely with others
• Expresses ideas in a clear, fluent and concise manner to both technical, and non-technical audiences
• Good written, verbal and presentation communication skills
