Tax Strategy and Planning

Our dedicated Tax Specialists provide forward-thinking strategies to help minimize our clients' tax liabilities effectively. At Hantz Group, we believe that tax planning is not just a seasonal task; it is a proactive, year-round process that involves continuous monitoring of our clients' tax situations and delivering timely projections well ahead of their final tax return preparation.

The Tax Analyst position offers an excellent entry point into the world of tax. Working as part of the Family Office team, you will collaborate closely with CPAs, Accountants, and Financial Advisors, enriching your understanding of tax accounting and its integral relationship with financial services. Your role will include conducting tax analyses, preparing projections and returns, and collaborating with specialists to identify opportunities for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze tax liabilities with precision.
  • Prepare tax projections in a timely manner.
  • Meet designated performance goals.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with the Tax Team to provide exceptional client service.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry rules and regulations.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Possess a strong sense of accountability in a professional and personal context.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A robust work ethic and a self-starting attitude.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Aspiration to obtain Enrolled Agent designation.
  • Willingness to acquire an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
