As the facility medical director for Cascade Valley Hospital, you'll guide an established emergency medicine (EM) team, shape clinical operations, and drive high-quality patient care in a collaborative, community-focused environment. This is an opportunity to lead with purpose, influence department performance, and help advance emergency care for the Arlington community.

Opportunity Overview:
  • Level IV trauma center
  • 16-bed emergency department
  • Approximately 23,000 annual patient visits
  • 29 total hospital beds
  • EMR: Epic
  • Admission rate: 7%
  • 37 hours per day physician coverage with 9-hour shifts
  • Medium acuity environment with a strong support structure
Competitive Compensation, with an estimated base salary of $250 to $250 hourly and the opportunity to earn additional bonus compensation through our RVU incentive plan. You will also receive a monthly medical director stipend of $4000 and quarterly quality incentive bonus. Full-time clinicians are eligible for excellent comprehensive benefits package to include: 401(k) plan, health, dental and vision insurance, LTD, STD, FSA, group life insurance, and employee assistance program.

Arlington, Washington, is located just north of Seattle off of Port Susan near Whidbey Island and the San Juan Islands. Facility Description

Cascade Valley Hospital opened in 1901 to serve the greater Arlington community. The hospital underwent a significant renovation and expansion in 2010 and is now licensed for 48 beds. Patients are served by highly trained clinical nursing teams and board-certified hospitalists. Cascade Valley Hospital provides a multidisciplinary approach, with clinical specialists and support services available to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to every patient. Cascade Valley Hospital provides acute care, critical care, general surgery, a level IV Emergency Department and a Family Birth Center. The facility also offers a number of support services such as an in-house laboratory, rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging and more.
