Join Our Team Forest Properties Management, Inc. is actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to contribute to our dynamic properties Parke Place Village in Seabrook and Sagamore Court in Portsmouth. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our properties, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs related to appliances, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and heating/cooling systems.
  • Complete service requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants, including cleaning as necessary.
  • Report any building, ground, or system issues to your supervisor for timely resolution.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with residents, team members, and vendors.
  • Participate in a rotational on-call schedule, including overtime and weekends when needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical, or painting.
  • Some experience with HVAC and appliance repair is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Physical ability to lift 75 lbs. or more and engage in activities such as walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • Must provide your own tools and have reliable transportation.
  • Eligibility to work in the USA and provide documentation upon hire.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience, with an hourly wage ranging from $22 to $28. We offer a supportive work environment and a comprehensive compensation package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; fully-paid life insurance; 401(k); and paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays). You may also be eligible for a performance-based bonus.
