We offer competitive sign-on bonuses for eligible full-time positions: $7500 for Direct Care Respiratory Therapists with one year of experience, and $5000 for those with less than one year of experience, both requiring South Carolina licensure. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute respiratory therapy procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental policy.
  • Obtain and analyze blood gas samples, reporting results accurately.
  • Initiate, monitor, and manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
  • Manage airways and related equipment effectively.
  • Document and charge for all respiratory care procedures and educate patients and families.
  • Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, providing complete and accurate reports.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and perform regular cleaning and sterilization of equipment.
  • Utilize resources efficiently, being mindful of time and supplies.

Supervisory/Management Responsibility

This position is non-management and will report to the appropriate supervisor or director.

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program or eligible for licensure in South Carolina.
  • Must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in South Carolina or eligible to obtain licensure.
  • BLS certification required; NBRC credentials must be maintained.

Other Required Skills and Experience

A collaborative and communicative work ethic, alongside strong organizational and computer skills, is essential.
