ResponsibilitiesHines Private Wealth Solutions is searching for an ambitious professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for client service. This individual will report to the Head of RIA and help strategically build the Hines Private Wealth platform across large RIA and RIA aggregator channels. The successful candidate will partner with their private wealth and institutional counterparts, as well as product strategy teams to drive business, expanding Hines’ distribution capabilities across the defined client segments.

Establish consultative relationships and grow market share with key centers of influence across large RIAs, RIA aggregators, and high-net-worth investors

Work in partnership with the Head of RIA, broader PWS team and senior management to drive sales and AUM growth across direct deals, SMAs, flagship offerings, and evergreen solutions

As a member of the team, foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing

Effectively articulate the firm’s investment philosophy and suite of investment solutions across our real asset product suite

Lead investor meetings and presentations on strategy, investment philosophy and financial performance

Generate and maintain continuous touchpoints by email, phone, Zoom and in-person with clients to build rapport, trust, and connectivity; assist with client service/PWS team inquiries and requests

Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of financial markets, Hines product suite, capabilities and competitive landscape

Ensure oversight and maintenance of CRM system (Salesforce) capturing client interactions and meeting notes

Systematic participation at regional and national RIA/Aggregator conferences

Assist with sales reporting and data for overall business updates and planning

Execute on KPIs and OKRs, and assist with establishing metrics for Family Wealth, as needed

Contribute to thought-leadership and content-generation initiatives
Minimum Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s level education preferred
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 / 66 licensing
- 8 or more years of experience working with RIAs/RIA Aggregators focused on private assets or other alternative investment strategies. Experience from an alternative asset manager or third-party placement firm is a plus
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
- Experience working within and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent sales, communication, organizational and leadership skills, including strong aptitude for interfacing with sophisticated investors
- Deep understanding of Family Wealth market, including knowledge of RIAs/RIA Aggregators and other private wealth sub-segments, with the ability to drive a coordinated sales process and collaborate with various internal business groups to achieve capital raising objectives
- Successful track record in developing and managing relationships within the RIA/RIA Aggregator segment.
- Proficiency in financial services sales, alternative investments, relationship management, product and industry knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of macroeconomics, asset allocation, fixed income, equity, and alternatives markets
- Demonstrate strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize targets and handle a busy calendar of meetings
- Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace distractions
- Travel is required as necessary
- Compensation: $235,000 - $310,000 + Bonus/Incentive Compensation
