We currently provide internships within our Global Operations business unit across supply chain and demand planning, procurement and data analytics. While similar skillsets are needed, the individual projects will vary by group.

Global Operations - Overview
As a Global Operation intern, you will support the team that owns the customer experience for hardware delivery, from forecast through the fulfillment process, driving to deliver on-time with exceptional quality. Our interns work on projects to improve the processes and tools used to support the planning and fulfillment teams while coordinating with connected departments including purchasing, manufacturing and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act a focal point between sales, project team, supply chain and order processing/invoicing teams to maintain proactive communications and update status of ongoing deliverables and initiatives.
  • Effectively drive the execution of internal processes across sourcing, fulfillment, and manufacturing teams to meet customer commit dates.
  • Forecast customer(s) level revenue and cost do determine project profitability
  • Utilize p level loading, capacity and lead times to balance customer request dates and order scheduled ship dates while ensuring realistic fulfillment expectations
  • Engage with sales and project team on new opportunities and provide input to proposed project, order, and fulfillment processes to meet customer requirements within policy/budget.
  • Drive projects for continuous improvement or new capabilities as necessary
  • Maintain schedules and document deviations and escalations as necessary
  • Interface with scheduling and execution teams to address supplier and delivery exceptions that may interfere with customer expectations, updating schedule ship dates and scheduled arrival dates and/or order promise dates as necessary
  • Ensures all projects, orders and delivery lines are invoice eligible in line with revenue recognition targets.
  • Ensure on time updates and data maintenance in internal systems as it relates to above responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with NCR Atleos policies for revenue recognition and specific contractual terms
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with a focus in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, Data Science or other related field.
  • Excellent project management/organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including customer facing communications
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, EXCEL, Outlook)
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and make decisions based on analysis
