This opportunity offers 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling, focusing exclusively on urgent care and emergency medicine cases in a fast-paced clinical environment. Job Details Location: New York Start Date: Mar 9, 2026 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Physician Assistant Schedule: 12-hour shifts (11am-11pm or 1pm-1am), 4-7 shifts per week (flexible) Responsibilities and Duties Perform sutures, splinting, and drainages Provide general superficial wound care and remove foreign bodies Administer joint injections and occipital nerve blocks Manage a variety of urgent care and emergency medicine cases Deliver care consistent with day-to-day urgent care/ER practice Additional Information Must have recent urgent care or emergency room experience; family practice experience will not be considered Active New York license required Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Board certifications in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
