Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to manage the execution and timely delivery of international shipments from our overseas manufacturing partners ( Ex-orient ). The ideal candidate will be the critical link between factories, freight forwarders, and our internal Sales and Operations teams, ensuring all shipping documentation and booking processes are accurate, compliant, and completed on schedule. Key Responsibilities Shipping & Booking Management: Monitor and track all completed orders, verifying that shipments are picked up and sailing on time from origin factories. Confirm that factory partners place container/freight bookings on time and approve the final booking details for shipping. Act as the primary point of contact for external logistics providers, handling all necessary logistics communication with the warehouse for inbound shipments. Documentation & Compliance: Verify the accuracy and completeness of all shipping documents (e.g., Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading drafts) submitted by the factory. Ensure all documentation meets customs and internal compliance standards. This would be cohesive work with company's Imports Department. Freight Coordination: Coordinate Ocean Freight container loading and consolidation schedules, maximizing container efficiency and minimizing costs. Troubleshoot and resolve potential logistical issues, delays, or communication breakdowns swiftly. Internal Support & Reporting: Collaborate with the Sales Team and Operations Manager to provide critical feedback and ensure proposed production timelines and product construction specifications are production-friendly and logistically viable. Maintain daily logistics reports detailing shipment status, booking confirmations, documentation issues, and any potential delays. Job Requirements: - ADVANCED Microsoft Office programs, VERY STRONG Excel skills required - Understands production work flow - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting - Proven ability to manage to standards - Individual must be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and great sense of urgency - Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrate proactive problem solving skills - Detail oriented with strong follow through able to organize and prioritize multiple projects
