About the Role

We're seeking a Clinic Medical Director to lead a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This clinic-based role combines direct patient care with operational leadership, offering the opportunity to shape clinical outcomes, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement. You'll collaborate with therapists, specialists, and administrative leaders to ensure the clinic operates efficiently and meets the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership
  • Provide direct patient care while modeling clinical excellence and professionalism
  • Lead the execution of the clinic's medical model, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with therapists and specialists to drive optimal outcomes and timely case resolution
  • Maintain compliance with APC supervisory requirements and state-specific regulations
Operational Oversight
  • Manage clinicians and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Partner with clinic leadership to assess and adjust staffing levels based on patient volume and operational needs
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance clinic efficiency and patient experience
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, payers, and external partners
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and recognition
  • Provide input on clinic budget and key business metrics, demonstrating financial awareness
Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
  • Unrestricted DEA license and state dispensing license (required prior to start date)
  • Eligible to participate in Medicare
  • Board certification or eligibility in an ABMS or AOA-recognized specialty preferred
  • FMCSA NRCME certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage clinical operations and lead multidisciplinary teams
