Your Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused nursing care for patients with complex needs, which includes administering medications and assisting with advanced interventions.
- Monitor patients attentively for any changes and escalate concerns promptly to support swift interventions.
- Document accurate updates to facilitate effective teamwork in a dynamic environment.
- Communicate complex health conditions and recovery processes clearly to patients and their families, ensuring understanding and comfort.
- Collaborate closely with RNs and specialists to ensure optimal patient recovery and transition from intensive care.
Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Must possess a valid LPN/LVN license or be a recent graduate of a vocational nursing program.
- A vocational or associate’s degree in nursing is required.
- Prior experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred.
