Position Insights
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and compassionate Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become an integral part of our expanding team of imaging professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. In this position, you will leverage cutting-edge ultrasound technology to conduct crucial diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a supportive network of clinical colleagues, and offer comfort to patients through precise and timely imaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse set of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, explaining each step with compassion and clarity
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, with a keen eye for reporting any malfunctions promptly
- Accurately document procedures and manage patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay updated on the latest advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
