Full Stack .NET Developer - Harrisburg, PA

Duration: 6 Months

Remote/Hybrid

Seeking for a Full Stack .NET Developer to help transition and enhance a transportation scheduling application. This project involves re-platforming from Ruby on Rails to .NET and Angular on Azure services.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Technical Lead and Application Architect to write, test, and document code.
  • Implement system features and enhancements.
Must-Have Skills and Experience:
  • 8 years of experience with .NET Core and C# for backend services.
  • 8 years of experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, or ASP.NET Core for web applications.
  • 8 years of experience with PostGres Database/PostGres GIS.
  • 8 years of experience with APIs and Integration, RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
  • 8 years of experience with testing frameworks: XUnit/NUnit (Prefer: Jasmine and Karma).
  • 8 years of experience with ORM, such as Entity framework and Dapper.
  • 8 years of experience with Esri ArcGIS solutions.
  • 8 years of experience with cloud services in .NET: Azure Function, Azure Queue, Azure Storage, Azure container registry, Key Vault.
  • 8 years of experience with front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 14 or greater (Prefer: jQuery and Bootstrap).
  • Experience with Visual Studio (VS2022) and VS Code, Azure DevOps/Git.
Additional Required Knowledge:
  • Responsiveness and mobile-first development.
  • Design Patterns and SOLID principles.
  • Digital accessibility and disability inclusion.
  • Regulations related to digital accessibility (e.g., Section 508, ADA).
  • WCAG 2.1 requirements.
  • Designing for platform technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, iOS, Android).
  • Applying WAI-ARIA authoring guidelines and best practices.
  • Optimizing for the accessibility features of platforms (HTML, iOS, Android).
  • Developing digital products that comply with accessibility standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience incorporating accessibility tests into the development process.
  • Experience building digital products where compliance with accessibility standards is part of the "definition of done".
