Required Skills:
Five (5) years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.
Possession of a Bachelor's degree.
Possession of a professional business analysis accreditation/certification, such as International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or Project Management Institute Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) certification, current and in good standing.
o Proof of certification must be provided.
o Client will accept the following equivalent:
Three (3) continuous years of experience within the last five (5) years utilizing an industry-recognized business analysis framework, such as the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) or PMI Guide to Business Analysis, OR
Five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years performing lead business analysis functions for large-scale (multi-million dollar) projects.
Three (3) consecutive years of experience within the last five (5) years of experience working in a business analyst role on a complex, technical project. A complex, technical project consists of traceable requirements' elicitation (data, technical, and business), gap analysis and stakeholder engagement.
Two (2) consecutive years of experience within the last five (5) years in a lead business analysis role in large-scale (multi-million dollar) systems implementation or business enhancement projects.
Two (2) consecutive years of experience within the last five (5) years working with diverse, cross-functional, and multi-sourced stakeholder groups to ensure common understanding and communication.
Desired Skills:
Additional years of experience beyond the mandatory minimum qualifications listed above.
Experience working with advanced data structures such as Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), National Information Exchange Model (NIEM), or X12 EDI Transactions (837, 835).
Experience in drafting data management materials such as Data Flow Diagrams, Data Models, Data Quality Assessments, etc.
Experience with the national Medicaid program, particularly the functions and operations of State Medicaid Agencies.
