Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care Management:

  2. Staff Supervision and Coordination:

    • Oversee and mentor nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, to promote excellence in care.

    • Organize staff assignments and manage schedules to ensure efficient operations.

    • Encourage professional development through training and a supportive team environment.

  3. Quality Assurance:

    • Maintain compliance with all facility policies and regulatory standards.

    • Conduct audits to uphold our high care standards and identify improvement opportunities.

    • Address any patient and family concerns with effective communication and resolution strategies.

  4. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and interventions.

    • Prepare comprehensive reports on patient care and staff performance for management review.

  5. Emergency Response:

    • Act swiftly in medical emergencies, coordinating with response teams to ensure patient safety.

    • Provide leadership during crisis situations, prioritizing the wellbeing of patients and staff.

  6. Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

    • Engage with physicians, therapists, and social workers in the development of holistic care plans.

    • Participate in team meetings to contribute to care strategies and decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

  • Licensure: Valid LPN or RN license.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in skilled nursing or long-term care environments, with supervisory experience being a plus.

  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to make sound clinical decisions while managing multiple priorities.

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

Salary: Up to $95,000 a year
