Join a nationally recognized civil engineering firm, ranked #9 in the nation, as we seek a talented Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&H) Design Engineer. At TPD, we pride ourselves on our commitment to improving communities and delivering exceptional engineering solutions. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead H&H study and design projects for a variety of clients, with the potential to grow into a Project Manager position if desired.

Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in H&H studies and design, as well as proficiency in relevant software applications. Upcoming projects will include H&H studies and designs for agencies, counties, municipalities, institutions, and private clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a task leader for H&H studies and designs, responsible for signing/sealing H&H modeling runs and H&H Reports.
  • Utilize H&H design software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-18, PondPACK, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with team members on drainage design, stormwater management design, and erosion & sediment control design (preferred).
  • Use CADD software tools such as MicroStation/OpenRoads or AutoCAD effectively.
  • Provide comprehensive project support using Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
  • P.E. License in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or both (one state required, commitment to apply for the second state upon hiring).
  • Valid Driver's License.

Compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000. We believe in developing our staff and fostering a supportive work culture.
