Summary:

We're looking for an experienced Consumer Product Marketing Manager to join our growing team and support our global audience. As a Consumer Product Marketer at Meta, you will help grow products used by billions of people and businesses all over the world across our apps including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Threads, Meta AI, and Reality Labs and drive complex cross-company initiatives. This role is responsible for leading inbound and outbound product marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for influencing product strategies and positioning for target audiences, leading go-to-market efforts that drive awareness and adoption, and working cross functionally with partners throughout the company. Required Skills:

Consumer Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Influence and shape product and GTM strategies through the use of data and insights in close collaboration with Research and Data Science, ensuring we're deepening audience understanding and delivering user value

  2. Identify emerging category trends and user needs showcasing product opportunities in social media, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and private messaging

  3. Build differentiated positioning and clear narratives that will breakthrough and drive product understanding and engagement across consumers, press and policy makers

  4. Develop and execute complex go-to-market strategies in partnership with Communications, Brand, Policy and Legal teams including goals, metrics for success, content development

  5. Drive effective product announcements and launch strategies, working side-by-side with leaders in the company, tackling ambiguous risks and problems with a principled approach

  6. Partner with Brand and Growth teams on full-funnel outbound marketing and advertising plans that drive awareness, adoption and long term engagement

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent Marketing experience

  2. 10+ years of full-time experience in Marketing, Management Consulting, Product Strategy and/or equivalent function (partnering with product and/or engineering teams to represent market requirements)

  3. 3+ years experience in Product Marketing, partnering closely with Product teams in development process

  4. Experience leading large-scale consumer go-to-market strategies across multiple audiences, launching and growing free or paid consumer products

  5. Experience developing, driving and measuring analytically rigorous full-funnel marketing campaigns

  6. Experience working with cross-functional partners such as Brand, Communications, Policy and Legal teams at all levels of management

  7. Experience presenting, facilitating discussions and driving decisions with executives and cross functional teams

  8. Project management experience in fast-moving environments, working with different functions, showing judgment on assessing and solving problems

  1. Understanding of consumer mobile app and technology landscape both in the U.S. and internationally

  2. Global marketing experience and knowledge of varied societal, social and business landscapes

  3. Experience working on a technical product that impacts policy, privacy, or security or complicated issues such as data sharing

  4. Experience launching innovative, first-to-market products or services, emerging technologies or new product categories

  5. Experience launching and scaling consumer hardware devices and/or physical goods

  6. Experience copywriting and working with creative teams

  7. A passion for Meta's portfolio of products and its mission to build the future of human connection and the technology that makes it possible

Public Compensation:

$158,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
