Your Essential Daily Duties Will Involve:
  • Preparing the operating room for surgical procedures and ensuring necessary equipment is sterile and ready
  • Upholding stringent sterilization standards and infection control policies
  • Assisting surgeons and surgical teams by providing tools and materials efficiently
  • Overseeing surgical instruments and equipment throughout each operation
  • Monitoring and managing surgical supplies to ensure all needs are met
  • Partnering with nursing staff, anesthesiologists, and fellow surgical technicians to guarantee smooth procedural transitions
  • Accurately maintaining surgical counts and documentation for compliance
Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Completion of a recognized Surgical Technology program
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent is required
Essential Credentials:
  • Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is needed
  • BLS certification (or commitment to obtain within 90 days of hire)
