The Data Strategist will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and optimizing data strategies that align with our organizational goals. This role will involve analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models, and guiding cross-functional teams to enhance data utilization across the company. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, business units, and leadership to drive insights that support business goals and improve decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Strategy Development: Define and implement data strategies that align with business objectives and promote data-driven culture.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Conduct comprehensive data analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Partner with business units to understand data needs, identify opportunities for leveraging data, and ensure alignment with overall company strategy.
  • Data Governance: Establish data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Predictive Modeling & Analytics: Develop predictive models and algorithms to support decision-making in areas such as customer behavior, market trends, and risk assessment.
  • Performance Measurement: Create and manage KPIs to monitor and evaluate the success of data initiatives, offering recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Data Visualization: Use tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization software to present insights to stakeholders in an accessible and compelling way.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5+ years in data strategy, data analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and implementing data-driven strategies.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analytics tools. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a keen ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into business-friendly language.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and timelines, working effectively across departments to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership.
  • Understanding of machine learning and AI models and their application in business strategies.
  • Previous experience in data governance, data architecture, or data management.
