Labor Finders has multiple openings for HVAC Technicians (AMI preferred) for long-term work on multiple sites in and around Tallahassee, FL. Candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of relevant HVAC experience and hold active EPA and CPO certifications. This role involves assisting HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Responsibilities include carrying and organizing tools and materials, assisting with ductwork, vents, and HVAC unit installation, cleaning and maintaining HVAC equipment, checking and replacing filters and basic components, ensuring work areas are clean and safe, and performing other HVAC support tasks as assigned.
Your Day
Start times vary between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM, with typical shifts lasting 8 hours, and some extending up to 10 hours. Work is performed on active construction sites and requires full PPE. Job sites may vary day to day but will remain in and around the Tallahassee area. Some work may be indoors; however, candidates must be prepared to work in all weather conditions, including extreme Florida heat. Reliable transportation to and from job sites is required, along with consistent communication with the Labor Finders office regarding job assignments. Positions may begin as short-term, with ongoing opportunities available for those who demonstrate dependable attendance, strong performance, and a positive work ethic. Pay is based on experience, job assignment, attendance, and performance feedback.
