Position Description:

The Client Service Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Financial Paraprofessional as well as Associate and Lead Wealth Advisors. They will provide non-advice-related support to clients, including organizing client meetings, collecting client data, responding to administrative client queries and preparing client letters and standard reports. They will assist in the preparation of financial modeling and financial planning documents to advisors. They may participate in client meetings with advisors. They will assist the Financial Paraprofessional in the follow up work resulting from client meetings, communicate, organize, and execute the client review process and completes follow-up work from client meetings. They are also responsible for assisting in the training of new team members and the development of improved training processes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or commensurate financial planning experience
  • Microsoft Office Proficient
  • Outstanding Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Outstanding Client Service Skill
  • Life, Health & Accident Insurance licensed in Kansas and Missouri

Position Responsibilities:

  • Produce statement of accounts for both prospect meetings and for client reviews
  • Proficiency in the use of all spreadsheets, planning tools, and planning software
  • Assists in the design, creation and printing of all planning materials presented to clients- ensuring all tools utilized are compliant with both the insurance and securities industries
  • Follows up with all perspective clients and current clients to ensure clear communication regarding needs and next steps.
  • Performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to: copying, scanning, filing, faxing, mail processing and distribution
  • Creates and modifies various documents using Microsoft Office and other necessary programs
  • Responsible for client experience during all interactions
  • Follows up on generated leads
  • Develops and maintains accurate written record of all of their activities in physical form as well as within the database
  • Performs all other assigned duties

Salary:

  • $47,500 - $52,500 based on experience

Hours:

  • Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
  • Note: Initial first few weeks of training will take place in the Overland Park office
