Part time School Nurse Needed Up to $55/hr
Location: Gloucester, MA
Contract Duration: 36 weeks
Compensation: Up To $55/Hour Based on Experience

Job Requirements.

  • Education Requirements: MA RN or LPN License
  • Certifications Requirements: Valid Nursing License in Massachusetts (RN or LPN)
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, catheter skills required, prior experience working with children or in school settings preferred
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work part-time (5 hours per week), shift around noon, possess strong catheter skills, provide 1:1 care with a first grader, pass background checks, and comply with school district policies

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 nursing care for a first grader, including catheter management
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure student safety and well-being
  • Monitor and record student health status and deliver basic first aid as needed
  • Follow district protocols and maintain confidentiality
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy school environment
  • Part time, 5 hours per week (1 hour per day) M - F
