Join Our Team We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist I to become an essential part of our dynamic Operating Room team. As a valued member, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient surgical procedures for our patients.

Location: Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Schedule: Full-time, evening shifts (8 or 10 hrs), Monday to Friday with call responsibilities including overnight and occasional weekend calls.

Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay ranging from $26.10 to $39.15/hour. Eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus (relocation assistance available) and a $2,000 bonus for PM shifts. Your Role: You will be responsible for creating a clean, safe, and supportive environment for surgical patients. This includes:

  • Preparing surgical supplies and instruments while maintaining aseptic techniques.
  • Ensuring the operating room is well-organized and efficient.
  • Functioning as a Second Assistant when needed.
  • Transporting patients and managing equipment safely.
  • Performing patient positioning duties and assisting with patient needs.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • No prior experience is necessary; we welcome new professionals.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical techniques and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate equipment, and maintain physical stamina within a demanding setting. Personal protective equipment will be required.
