Our client is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for client advisory, team management, tax knowledge and risk management. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $150,000 to $175,000 per year.

Job Description:

  • Advise clients on tax implications related to their business objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend alternative actions to minimize tax burden.
  • Identify compliance methods in accordance with tax regulations.
  • Apply tax knowledge to understand potential issues.
  • Recognize and communicate risks and changes in tax policy.
  • Manage and train the tax team.
  • Federal tax compliance, accounting, and provisions.
  • Tax analysis and research.
Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suites, and Ultra Tax Software.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Consistently meet deadlines.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to multitask.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of public accounting and management experience.
  • Experience in tax return preparation.
  • CPA certification required.
