The Exeter Township School District is looking for a detail-oriented, compassionate School Nurse to promote the health and well-being of students by providing medical care, health assessments, and wellness education. The nurse supports a safe and healthy school environment.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide direct health care services to students and staff, including first aid and emergency care. This individual will be expected to provide critical support to student health needs; creates and implements Individual Health Plans; contributes to 504 plans; offers classroom lessons on health and hygiene.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and district policy.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state and district requirements.
- Conduct health screenings as mandated by state guidelines.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or Certified School Nurse (CSN) certificate.
