Volunteer Description:

The Volunteer Office Volunteer supports the Volunteer Coordinator with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks to ensure an exceptional experience for all volunteers and community members. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service, working in a dynamic environment, and learning administrative and data management skills.

Volunteer Daily Task Overview:

  • Assist with 3 volunteer check ins a day
  • Respond to Volunteer Office Emails
  • Approve Pending Applications in Salesforce
  • Approve Activities in Salesforce
  • Walk the Warehouse floor to check in with staff and volunteers, look for volunteers that have not signed in and make sure they sign in
  • Replace nametags and sharpies if needed as well as create name tags
  • Upload and Check off Permission Slips on Salesforce
  • Approve & Sign Volunteer timesheets for each shift
  • Be available at the VO window for questions 30 minutes before each volunteer check in and 30 minutes after
  • Help close out Volunteer Office for the day
