*MUST HAVE PREVIOUS BOOKKEEPING EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION*

Full-Charge Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions (the "numbers" side of Chicago)
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Assist with financial reporting and budget tracking
  • Reconcile accounts and support audits
  • Handle payroll and other related financial tasks

Full-Charge Bookkeeper Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/related field is preferred
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
  • Familiarity with nonprofit accounting principles and software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills (just like organizing a trip to Navy Pier)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
