Histology Technician | Henry Ford Health System (Detroit, MI)

Dept: Pathology Surgical | Contract: 13 Weeks | 40 hrs/week

Position: Histology Technician
Interview: 30 mins via MS Teams
Experience Required: 3+ years
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s (Anatomy, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Lab Sciences, etc.) OR HS Diploma with 2+ years relevant lab experience
Certification: HT or HTL (ASCP) preferred

Skills Needed:
  • Strong tissue handling & microtomy skills
  • Good visual acuity, depth perception & color differentiation
  • Ability to follow standardized lab procedures
  • Experience maintaining QC and equipment logs
