Transportation Engineer - Fort Wayne, IN
(Full-Time | Civil Engineering | Roadway Design)

We have an immediate opportunity for a Transportation Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join a growing team in the Fort Wayne, IN area. This role is ideal for a technically driven engineer who enjoys hands-on roadway design, collaboration with public agencies, and contributing to infrastructure projects across Indiana.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead transportation design, including calculations, reports, plan preparation, and roadway modeling.
  • Support proposal development, preliminary evaluations, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with project managers, leadership, and clients to ensure budgets, schedules, and deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate with INDOT, county, and municipal agencies to facilitate design and project coordination.
  • Assist regional offices with a variety of transportation and infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related ABET-accredited program.
  • 3+ years of experience in transportation design.
  • Proven background working with INDOT, county, and municipal design projects.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation / Bentley OpenRoads Designer (required).
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Adobe software (preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in project management and leading project teams.
  • Strong understanding of INDOT standards, roadway design principles, and modeling workflows.
