We are seeking a Fund Accountant to provide specialized accounting support for commingled investment portfolios within the business line. Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve a problem.
  • Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively.
  • Organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Ability to work US Holidays.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.
salary: $22 - $24 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities
  • Processing transactions, capital stock, expenses, corporate actions, cash, and special handling.
  • Break identification and resolution.
  • Ensuring daily accounting deliverables are timely and accurate.
  • Serving as the primary contact for derivative valuation inquiries.
  • Verifying information and escalating problem items.
  • Managing daily volume and production reporting.
  • Monitoring and assisting in the resolution of issues, including break follow-up and resolution.
  • Following up on open inquiries.
  • Interacting with internal departments on issue resolution.
  • Communicating professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues and minimize risk and exposure.
  • Helping to ensure team deadlines and/or requirements are being met.
  • Contributing to Management Reporting (e.g., Clarity, PVC's, past dues, cash breaks, R and A analysis).
  • Gaining an understanding of the big picture of how the specific function impacts the firm.
  • Contributing to Division/Firm process improvement activities and gaining efficiencies to improve individual productivity.
  • Managing multiple tasks and/or projects efficiently despite resource and time constraints.
