Project/Program Manager (Medicare Advantage)
Location: Remote

Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager with deep Medicare
Advantage expertise to manage and drive complex healthcare initiatives. This temp-to hire role requires strong leadership in Agile environments and hands-on experience with
Jira and Confluence.

What You Will Do:
• Lead and manage end-to-end execution of projects and programs related to
Medicare Advantage initiatives
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, timely delivery, and scope
adherence
• Oversee compliance with CMS regulations and other Medicare Advantage program
requirements
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups,
retrospectives, and demos
• Track progress and performance using Jira and Confluence, ensuring visibility
across stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure program objectives and
deliverables are met
• Support continuous process improvements and drive operational efficiency within
project workflows

• Proven ability to navigate and interpret Medicare Advantage operations and
regulatory requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving
issues
• Effective communicator who can bridge gaps between technical and non-technical
teams
• Brings structure, clarity, and organization to Agile project management in fast-paced
environments
• Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities
simultaneously
• Demonstrated focus on aligning project outcomes with user needs and business
goals
What You Will Bring:
• 3+ years of experience managing Medicare Advantage projects or programs
• 4-5 years of experience using Jira and Confluence in an Agile setting
• Strong familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban
• Ability to manage complex projects across cross-functional teams, vendors, and
stakeholders
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Solid understanding of project and program management best practices
• Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
• Experience in healthcare technology, payer-provider organizations, or healthcare
operations preferred
• Familiarity with CMS reporting, submissions, and audit processes preferred
