Conklin Automotive Group is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our dedicated service team. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers when they bring their vehicles in for maintenance and repair. Your role is vital in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers, as you will assess their needs, recommend services, and communicate with our technicians to ensure efficient service delivery. Responsibilities- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance services
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of services
- Prepare estimates, invoices, and necessary paperwork for services rendered
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Stay informed on promotional offerings and product knowledge to enhance customer experience
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive knowledge is preferred
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including service management tools
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
