Shifts: ALL shifts
1. Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
2. Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients.
3. Aid physicians and nursing staff members with procedures if needed.
4. Document patient interactions as needed.
5. Transport patients to treatment units, using a wheelchair or stretcher.
6. Measure and record patient's vital signs.
7. Answer patient calls for care and feeding.
8. Set up equipment and prepare medical treatment rooms.
9. Clean and sanitize patient areas.
10. Change bed sheets and restock rooms with necessary supplies.
11. Assist patients with daily activities like walking and exercise.
12. Communicate with patient's family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions.
13. Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the nursing staff.
14. Maintain patient's comfort level by making beds, doing laundry, cleaning rooms and assisting in toileting.
