Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a client in Elkins Park. In this role, you will assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily activities, promote their independence, and ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on care and support in daily living activities (personal hygiene, meal prep, light housekeeping, etc.)
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the individual at all times
- Support community integration and social activities as appropriate
- Follow individualized care plans and documentation requirements
- Communicate effectively with family members, supervisors, and other team members
- Previous experience as a DSP or caregiver preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and clearances as required
- Reliable transportation to and from the client's home in Elkins Park, PA
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient
