Position Summary:

Operations Specialists act as a resource to Sheers account managers to enable load growth and provide exceptional levels of customer service. It is the responsibility of the Operations Specialist to support the account management team by managing operations tasks for the company account(s) entrusted to the team. After shipments have been booked, Operations Specialists are responsible for ensuring the load's specific requirements are met, always...

Essential Functions:
  • Provide immediate support to the Account Management team through managing operational tasks (load building, appointment setting and document retrieval)
  • Providing a high level of customer service in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment
  • Keep updated and timely records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Manage and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure load count growth
  • Problem resolution to the satisfaction of your carriers/customers and Sheer Logistics
Education and/or Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous Customer Engagement Experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Computer literacy and proficiency
  • Working knowledge of basic geography

Compensation: $50,000 and variable bonus of 10% annually.
Work Location: Chicago, IL (In office) 505 N LaSalle Dr, Chicago IL 60654, we offer Hybrid flexibility.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
