Business Analyst

As a Zywave Business Analyst, you will serve as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements in support of customers implementing Zywave products and business processes. This role is ideal for professionals with 2-5 years of experience who excel in API testing, troubleshooting, and configuration, and are passionate about improving workflows and delivering customer-focused solutions.
What You Will Do
- Lead customer driven API testing and validation efforts using tools like Postman and Insomnia, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Troubleshoot configuration issues and resolve technical challenges independently.
- Analyze and understand user problems
- Collaborate with Research & Development on release planning.
- Continuously improve internal processes for efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT & Business Education, Computer Science, or equivalent experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Insurance industry experience preferred (Commercial Insurance; Personal Lines is a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong analytical, questioning, and facilitation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and self-manage multiple tasks.
- Easily adaptable to change and proactive in seeking growth opportunities.
- Ability to actively listen to business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Proficiency withAPI testing tools (Postman, Insomnia), JIRA, Adobe, and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and advocate for user experience.
