Job Overview:

Rycor Heating and Cooling is seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse associate to oversee daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and efficient work environment, ensuring that inventory is properly managed, and supporting the production team by ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Order and maintain inventory levels, coordinating with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure all necessary parts and materials are in stock.
  • Truck Organization: Efficiently load and organize trucks with the necessary equipment and materials for daily operations.
  • Serial Number Tracking: Accurately record serial numbers from units to maintain inventory control and traceability.
  • Workload Preparation: Prepare the workload for the following day, ensuring that all necessary items are available and ready for use.
  • Shop Organization: Maintain an organized shop area, ensuring that all tools and materials are stored correctly.
  • Receiving Deliveries: Receive deliveries from multiple supply houses, inventory the items as they arrive, and put them away in their proper locations.
  • Part Checking: Check in parts upon arrival and communicate with the Service Department to ensure all parts are accounted for and distributed as needed.
  • Jobsite Support: Run parts or equipment to job sites as required to support field operations.
  • Shop Cleaning: Regularly clean the shop area, ensuring that scrap materials are organized, and garbage is properly disposed of.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that all company vehicles are clean and properly maintained throughout the day.
  • Reporting: Report directly to the Supply chain manager, providing updates on warehouse operations and any issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with various departments.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
