Job Overview:
As a vital member of our Human Resources team, the Senior People Technology Partner will support our core HR programs by enhancing our systems and delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting to the People Technology Manager, you will be a subject matter expert on HR processes and demonstrate advanced knowledge in Payroll/Core and Time Management system setups. This role empowers you to implement creative enhancements and drive continuous improvements within our HRIS systems, playing a critical role in the advancement of our HR objectives.
Location: This position is located in Warroad, MN. Highlights of your role:
- Communicate HR system changes and their impacts effectively.
- Build strong partnerships across departments to align system functionalities with business needs and enhance user experiences.
- Consult with HR, IT, and vendors to address system and reporting issues, recommending effective solutions.
- Lead HR system support initiatives, troubleshooting, and root cause analyses.
- Stay updated on system enhancements and drive improvements to increase business value.
- Recommend and oversee system upgrades and new functionalities.
- Engage in external networking to incorporate best practices.
- Coach peers on system utilization and problem-solving strategies.
System Development & Configuration:
- Configure enterprise-wide HR systems to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Conduct data audits for integrity and consistency.
- Develop, test, and implement system enhancements and scripts.
- Provide comprehensive end-user support and training materials.
- Collaborate with vendors for upgrades and maintenance.
- Identify service trends and propose innovative solutions to improve functionality.
- Create and manage reports, ensuring proper system security protocols.
- Support acquisitions integration and maintain thorough documentation.
- Contribute to strategic planning for HR technology initiatives.
Project Management:
- Oversee projects from planning to execution, including tracking milestones, risks, and resource allocation.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Mentor team members and serve as a key technical resource.
- Influence People Technology goals and operational plans.
- Work independently on complex assignments and lead significant projects.
- Apply advanced technical expertise to tackle unique HR system challenges.
You're a good fit if you have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in HR, specifically with HR technology systems and applications in Payroll/Core and Time Management.
- Experience with UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management solutions, including Business Intelligence and Cognos reporting.
- A solid understanding of HR principles, programs, and processes.
- Strong consulting skills with the ability to relay critical HRIS knowledge effectively.
- Exceptional communication and diplomatic skills to influence and guide colleagues and management.
- The capacity to simplify complex technical concepts for business partners both inside and outside HR.
- A collaborative spirit and proficiency in multitasking in a dynamic environment.

Compensation: $81,000 - $108,000 annually
