The Operations Regional Manager collaborates with senior leadership in overseeing the strategic direction and operational excellence of regional branch offices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards of exceptional member service across all channels. This is a high-level position that emphasizes leadership, guiding teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality experience in both retail branch settings and omni-channel services, which directly contributes to the overall success of the organization.

The Operations Regional Manager actively represents the Credit Union within the community, driving business development and promoting products and services to meet ambitious sales objectives while embodying the Credit Union's values, mission, vision, and promise. Engagement with professional and business associations in the region is essential to expand the Credit Union's influence.

This position requires advanced decision-making and analytical skills, fostering an empowered work environment that motivates employees to achieve service excellence. Strong communication skills are crucial, as the role involves collaboration with all levels of personnel and external partners.

The Operations Regional Manager must maintain a professional demeanor and flexible schedule, conducting business

The duties of an Operations Regional Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive monthly operational analyses to align with and exceed annual performance objectives, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Actively engaging in cross-functional product and development initiatives, overseeing product analysis, procedural enhancements, testing, and comprehensive training execution.
  • Monitoring adherence to all financial institution regulations across branch locations, conducting regular audits of security measures, including facilities and vaults, to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
  • Overseeing the cash management program to ensure secure and efficient handling of cash transactions.
  • Developing and executing strategic business plans, including marketing strategies and disaster recovery preparedness, while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness and achieve superior results.
  • Utilizing data gained from knowledge assessments and quality management programs to provide actionable insights to management and implement changes to enhance the member experience.
  • Facilitating impactful monthly coaching sessions and frequent team meetings with branch managers to convey critical information and identify training needs that foster team growth.
