Application Consultant

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Consultant - Experience Fullstack position for our client.

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Develop, enhance, and support applications, workflows, and integrations within the AT&T Broadband Network Management System (BBNMS).

• Collaborate closely with network engineering, OSS teams, and operations groups to automate provisioning and improve network management capabilities.

• Maintain reliable OSS functionality across optical and transport networks.

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot scripts, applications, and database queries to support operational needs.

• Assist with integration of OSS/BSS systems, including inventory, activation, and ticketing workflows.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of BBNMS architecture, provisioning workflows, and OSS integration.

• Hands-on experience with TL1, SNMP, XML, CORBA, or related NMS/OSS protocols.

• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages: Python, Perl, Shell, or Java.

• SQL and relational database experience.

• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments.

• Understanding of telecom network technologies, including SONET/SDH, OTN, DWDM, Ethernet services (E-Line, E-LAN, EPL/EVPL), and MPLS/IP transport.

• Exposure to OSS/BSS systems (inventory, activation, ticketing) is preferred.

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience developing and supporting OSS/NMS applications and integrations.

• Experience working in telecom network environments is highly desirable.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems and workflows in production environments.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
