Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional for our Fort Myers, FL branch to work in and around the surrounding areas. This role involves leading assigned jobs, handling fire sprinkler system repairs, relocations, and tenant improvements. It is a fast-paced position requiring frequent ladder climbing, overhead work, and the use of industry tools. Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and regularly perform physical tasks such as reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, climbing, and walking.

Responsibilities
  • Lead assigned jobs daily.
  • Perform fire sprinkler system repairs, additions/relocations, and tenant improvements/changes.
  • Direct and train assigned helpers on servicing fire sprinkler systems.
  • Perform installations of new fire sprinkler systems as needed.
  • Ensure all work is performed accurately and timely.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to exceed expectations and ensure quality, timely installations.
  • Attend monthly safety meetings at the local branch.
  • Work outside on job sites for long hours in all seasons, including summer months.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of fire sprinkler service experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with system installation, repairs, additions/relocations, troubleshooting, reading blueprints, and putting systems on test.
  • Ability to supervise each project and all Fitters/Helpers on the job site.
  • Must be able to wear proper protective equipment as required on all job sites.
  • Travel within the local community is required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Organized, professional, and a good communicator.
  • A company vehicle will be provided, requiring a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check, including previous employment verification, is required.
